He’s a very good player. Works the channels, good first touch, good in the air, decent finisher. I think he’s still got a bit of improving to do as well.

The club should be willing to break its wage structure for him. Get him signed on a longer contract and get a proper decent fee if he is to leave. Would be criminal if he left for next to nowt.

He's lucky to be at a club of this size at his stage of development.
We're not selling unless we have to and that won't be until next summer or Jan 24, but a new contract would be the best signing of the summer.

It's more thinking ahead to next summer. He'll stay with us this season. Very much doubt he'll leave in Jan. Year left on contract would impact what we can get for him.

Of course he is. He was plucked from Scotland playing in front of not much bigger than non-league size crowds to playing in one of England’s biggest stadiums, fanbases, earning decent money and having top of the range training facilities.

Him and Simms are the main reason I think we have half a chance of doing something a bit more than consolidating this season. I really hope we recruit well in the next ten days because we have some good ingredients there and a chef who knows his way round the kitchen. Just need a few bits to add and we can properly compete

I think he’ll be with us all season and then he’ll leave if we don’t go up. Which chances at this stage are low. But he’s our best chance at this moment in time.
Regardless of whether the lad is Premier quality he’ll have Celtic and Rangers fighting for him regardless and he’ll smash that league to bits and get some CL football he likely won’t in the PL.
