Ticket shambles today

It is a ludicrous situation atleast a non league club would want your money. The club are burning through goodwill needlessly.
There’s a big long list of stuff they no longer get my money for.

1. Strips for the kids. Shop shut or out of stock. Shit customer service.

2. Corporate Hospitality- totally sub standard.

3. Half time drinks, massive queues and inept staff.

4, Cup tickets, ticket office is a disgrace.

Amazing a company struggle to take willing customers cash.

With a season ticket in the south stand that worked last week, today it won't let me in so I'm told to go to turnstile 9-10. There is a bloke there letting people into the premier concourse in exchange for your season ticket. He had a plastic bag full of them.

They said my seat has been sold to someone else due to a duplicate ticket error on Ticketmaster and I need to queue at the ticket office before Norwich to get it sorted and get it back.

Just a heads up for anyone in the same boat. Even with the recent issues it is hard to believe how bad this stuff is at the minute.

Just got a reply from Chris waters saying he was looking into it. Hope you did/will soon?

After being at work most weekends I finally bought a season ticket for my husband and I this season (I had one at Roker Park)
As my back is really bad, I paid extra for a more comfortable seat in the black cats bar - end of a row, so I could have more room to wriggle about and try and be comfortable.
We were sat at the match on Saturday and were tapped on the shoulder to be told we were in someone’s seats. The had had them seats for 10 years.
Rows behind and in front confirmed this.
Their seats had been renewed two seats along.
There was discussions and advice from stewards with regards to getting in touch with the ticket office (which I did laugh in their face, I’ve been trying to buy a parking bay since June)
I can’t in good conscience sit in their seat of 10 years, so know I’m going to have to move.
However just wanted to give the other side to the story, I bought my ticket in good faith in March and now eff knows where they going to shove me and my husband.
I need the space of an end row and I just can’t see there are any left in the black cats bar… likelyhood is if they can’t accommodate me I will have to get a refund, am not paying that much money to be totally uncomfortable.

First time I've had a season ticket in years and first time with plastic card.Turnstiles I'm meant to use are 51-52 but normally use 47-48 as usually much shorter queue. Coventry game went in 47-48, swiped at first attempt. Then QPR, same turnstile, just wouldn't scan, tried loads of times. Lass outside said to go to ticket office but on the offchance I went to 51-52 and it scanned first time. At first I thought there must be some knack to doing it but now reading this thread, wondering if it's total chance whether it's going to work on the day, depending which one you use? Half arsed like.

Apparently your season card now only works at the gates shown on the card. Previously you could enter by any gate.

Cheers mate, didn't know. Was in same seat for most of last season just buying match to match, and used to go in whichever queue was shortest.
I only found out by chance on Satada, as lad in front of me tried to get in with his young daughter. His card wouldnt work , he kept trying eventually a steward turned up. He told him he was using the wrong gate and could only use the ones shown on the card.
I thought the original idea was you could use any gate so you could go in with friends and family. Have a bit time together or meet peopleon the concourse then bugger off to seat close to kick off.
Something has gone wrong with the people currently running the club. A lot changed when they outsourced the stewarding.

This just applies for the South stand. We couldn't enter via those turnstiles on Saturday.

yet we went in via the SWC and I sit in the NWC

Aye, would have been simpler if they'd quickly checked the card and said you have to use the one shown on it. I was about to go and join the ticket office queue, just as well I tried the one I should be using first. Can't complain really as I got in but another point which the club should be highlighting, just to reduce amount of people being told to go to ticket office when there's nothing wrong with their card

The Club put this out on Friday. Turnstile changes are mentioned. Easy to miss if your not hanging off their every word.

I was away on Friday, so didnt read any emails.
But that seems to only apply to people who sit in the South Stand.

My take is that the problems relate to the South Stand, but the "enter by the turnstiles on your ST" has been applied to the whole ground. Might be wrong.

It has. Im sure this is what caused my problems.

I have the last seat in the south east corner and my daughters have the first 2 in the east stand. The 3 seats are together but I think they now want me to use one turnstile and my girls to use another.

Im going to have to go to the ticket office when the bastard opens.

You're more likely right. Original idea as per that message was probably meant to be just South Stand but can imagine they've ended up doing it for other sections if not the whole ground. Even if they didn't originally intend to do it like that, would be in keeping with the general way of things off the pitch right now.
