Enjoyable fluff. Nowhere near a “horror” it claims to be but really likeable characters
Thought it was bang average, style over content, no tension at all given the sisters aptitude.

Watched Searching last night, guy loses his wife to cancer and then his daughter disappears. Excellent movie, all done through smartphones, go pro's, internet etc and the tech is used in the twists and turns of the story. Very well made and highly recommended.

Searching is very good and although you knew…you really didn’t know

Might give this a go later, looks interesting.

I remember going to see Searching at the cinema. Everyone saying “fish and chips” in unison was a weird experience

Just released on Hulu in America isn't it? dunno what the equilalent to that is over here like but cant see a theatriocal release if its streaming elsewhere
Watched it yesterday, not as good as I was expecting, filmed in Alberta, storyline just didn't hit the mark 6/10.

Elvis. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen. Good portrayal of Elvis by Austin Butler and Tom Hanks is always watchable.

9/10

Prey, beautifully shot, action a bit bonkers but the main lead was very good and this movie HAS A PREDATOR IN IT. 7/10
I didn’t like the look of the Pred. But I do think it’s the best one in the series since the first. Loved the P2 reference at the end too.

Few gripes, animals cgi looked rough like ps2 rough, ending could have been better than an cave pictures half explaining the end. But the fact the predator had technology that was older was a nice touch.

The CGI bear was terrible, reminded me of the one from The Revenant and the ending was lazy and weak, would have been better had Arnie appeared from nowhere and shouted...........

Been on a bit of an 80s kick - watched Jagged Edge (hasn't aged well) and now watching Unlawful Entry just for Ray Liotta (rip). Difficult to say who's wearing the most eyeliner - Kurt Russell or Ray. It's certainly not Madeline Stowe. 😀

The grey man, was expecting big things from the cast and directors but nah it was shite. Dialogue was cringeworthy at times, action wasn’t the best. The cgi was god awful to the point they had decided to just give up and try and cover what was happening on screen with clouds, smoke, rain, especially during the plane crash. 2/10

The Batman 8/10

Didn't think I would have liked it which is why I waited ages until I had 3 hours free to watch it. I just thought it's like the 7th batman or something and the 3rd separate take on the same story. However I really enjoyed it, Pattison is a great batman and overall it's a good film and surprisingly wasn't bored at all
Off after 15 mins for me , the opening scene where he sees off a bunch of Latino low life’s just , all American bullshit, kids stuff. Similarly , The Northman , even worse , absolute garbage , lasted 10 mins.

They/Them

a really terrible slasher type film set at a gay conversion camp.

kevin bacon must be really strapped for cash

2/10
