Would they lose money? Surely companies would pay more for adverts on the sky cricket channel of it was showing live cricket rather than highlights of last year's tournament?

The ECB could market it as well?

I don’t know the exact sums mate but there’ll be teams of qualified accountants doing them at Sky, who’ve taken the call that it’s not worth screening.

Seem to recall that it’s c£100k per day to set up a TV production. The average daytime county champ game on sky gets 20,000 viewers. So if those are even ballpark correct it’s understandable how they can’t make it profitable.

I am not getting into mate or getting into your tit for tat arguments and certainly not going to call anyone a fool.

I am just going to enjoy the cricket.
