Just watching as nowt else is on
i don’t have bt sport.
still not a run a ball and a wicket to a dibbly dobbly bowler.
There’s absolutely loads on.
I’d rather watch a blank screen than give this dross viewership.
I expected better from you.

Is it like last year where you had ‘huge’ crowds but 7,000 seats taped off for the DJ stage? You must be logged on to see media items
We shall see. We are never going to agree over this, until there is a team at CLS
I’m on a stream and barely taking notice, I’m watching coronation street And posting on here. There’s absolutely loads on.

On the edge of your seat stuff this.

im not listening now to the game
the whole premise of this is wrong and nothing they are doing could not have been done to the t20
Shite is harsh imo. Finals day is always fantastic. I do agree some t20 is poor but as I’ve advocated if the top England players were allowed to play it could have been improvedI get your general argument mate but people are now trying to justify the Blast as a superior standard of cricket on this thread. Sorry, but that’s shite.
I’m not. I’m cough cough, using an alt method ,commonwealth games is canny
switch it off, don't contribute to their audience figures

I think that’s right because it’s basically the same.I feel like I went into this last year with more of an open mind than most traditional cricket fans. I hope it does get new people into the sport and works as a platform to improve the womens game.
It's just baffling as to why they couldn't put this level of investment into the blast and got the same (or even better) results.
I think that’s right because it’s basically the same.
That’s why it baffles me when people say the blast is great and this is not.
It’s played by roughly the same players over roughly the same time, so if you like one it stands to reason to like the other.
Well exactly I like the blast very much always have always will.I get your general argument mate but people are now trying to justify the Blast as a superior standard of cricket on this thread. Sorry, but that’s shite.
but one is ruining the game and the other isn't.It’s played by roughly the same players over roughly the same time, so if you like one it stands to reason to like the other.
That’s fair enough, but that doesn’t make it a better standard or better entertainment as it’s played by the roughly same players over roughly the same time. The Blast is played with teams you can identify with and in most cases at a ground near to cricket fans. It is also played by proper cricket rules.
This feels like It's a Knockout.
I think that's what annoys me the most about it. It's the hyperbole in the broadcast when it's no different to what we already have. Talking about how exciting this innings is when they are going at a run a ball is just bollocks.I think that’s right because it’s basically the same.

I am talking about a fan like me who has no association with a certain team and like to watch cricket, but one is ruining the game and the other isn't.
The T20 is sufficient for "a night out" and to "inspire younger folk" - we don't need another competition which is basically destroying the competition we're currently world champions in. There isn't really any star names on show tonight either. I just don't get it.
how do you expect me living in Durham to "like the other" when the "other" is nearest based in Leeds, approx 90 miles away? How can I like that?
