Thinking their fans would be below them plus netting also.Wouldn't that just shift the victims of missiles elsewhere?

Maybe do what Boro have done and allocate 4 blocks on the East stand say towards the SE corner.I think that has been ruled out previously due to the boxes and black cats bar.
I'd put away fans in the NW Corner then they are straight out onto their coaches. For bigger allocations you could then sell the NW upper to them also.
Why should scummy fans of a certain club, who act in the way they have done, be able to change our policy of where we put away fans of all clubs?Just put them back where they used to be, don't see the issue with it...both at same level, can't get stuff chucked down, if away fans act up there would be reprisal so they probably wouldn't in the first place and the cells are there. Stupid idea having away fans above home supporters.
There's been issues with various clubs over the years. Just recently Coventry and Portsmouth, but Boro have caused problems previously as well as others. Why should scummy fans of a certain club, who act in the way they have done, be able to change our policy of where we put away fans of all clubs?

Shouldn't forget.... as well as the glass beer bottle, there was the old fella hit with the smoke cannister.
All the debate around away location, the issue now is fans safety in the lower tier and something being done before someone gets seriouslworse jured
It’s the current and previous sAFC regimes who insist on putting away fans up there that equally shoulder the blame. They were warned on here umpteen times when it was first announced. If we insist on having away fans up there then we need a huge net in front of them.
Aye but we had trouble previously when away fans were in the South stand. I remember trouble when we beat the mags under Keane. There's been issues with various clubs over the years. Just recently Coventry and Portsmouth, but Boro have caused problems previously as well as others.
That road where they park the away coaches is a danger just in general, can't see a bloody thing once the sun sets. Must come across as proper tin pot for visiting fans.Obviously the knobs throwing the crap are to blame . However Safc are also guilty of not ensuring the safety of its customers.
Countless times there has been complaints about the dark , dingy road where the away coaches are parked and no police present .
Everyone there today knew that Coventry would bring arsewipes up and again the club made no effort to minimise the danger .
Poor
Not in the case of Coventry99% of away fans are sound and I hope they enjoy their day. It's that 1% dickheads who spoil it for everyone.
Away fans should be moved from that prominent position.[email protected] ,safety officer at Sunderland everyone bombard him with emails
