Wear-Tees Derby

I live in Guisborough. Cleveland. Surrounded by smoggies
Good people and good friends
Is it a derby? NO
It is a match that is a bit more intense.
If we get beat off them it’s like any other defeat.

Against the Mags it’s a whole new ball game.
This game means more to me than any other game on earth and that includes all ye euro finals or World Cup finals.
Getting beat against the mags and it hurts so much. I’m such a miserable twat to be around. Until the next time we beat them.

But then again I’m only 71 but still act like a bairn when it comes to the mags.

fortnight Thursday recall the pub scene in American werewolf in London & the deathly quiet pub scene

it was exactly like that & I’ve lived here for 50 years 😂

I love the banter I have in my local pub. The Abbey Inn. Sam Smiths pub with no music or mobile phones etc. just people talking.
When I walk in with my Sunlun gear on I tell them that I double the value of the pub when I walk in.
There’s a lad from consett who goes in and he’s never been to roker park. Been twice to the SOL. Opening game v Ajax and a pop concert. I take the piss out of him more than the others. He’s 72 and tells everybody he’s a Mackem. 😂

Think it was the disbelief that someone had walked into a very Boro supporting area with a SAFC too on, barmaid summed it up by announcing Hank as ‘daft Ger’ 🤷‍♂️😳
 
How many tickets do you think they’ll give us? Want to try and get the bairn a ticket for his first away game, but not sure it’ll get down to the SC holder phase.

I drove around Pally Park, Brambles Farm, Thorntree, Berwick Hills and Eston with my Sunderland flag flying out the car , after the Wembley win. Honking my horn.

Ask Hank, he seen us.

I will step it up another level if we beat them. I will plant my flag on Eston hills , overlooking the whole of Teesside.

Slight fly in the ointment being we would have to beat them .

I think you’re getting confused marra.

We beat Boro 2-0 when Tommy Miller scored. Arca got the second from a free kick.

The 2-2 was when Liam Miller (RIP) scored the equaliser.
