AC Milan are playing a full strength team against a Hungarian team and are 3 0 down after 30 mins. Will that mean the will get relegated in seria A?
 
They're a guide but a very crude one. If you're getting battered, worry. If not, take it with a pinch of salt.

I don't think we need pre season games to tell us we still need to strengthen. But where we ever going to have all players in place for the start of the season, given the date the window closes?

Freak results happen, but these friendlies are just reiterating what we already know. We have a league one squad that is lacking at RB CM and cover up top.

Remember us thumping FC Porto 3-0 mid 90s? Then pretty sure we struggled to stay up ?

AC Milan were 1/8 to win too never heard of the side they are playing 3-1 now strong side out too

If you watched us last season and our friendlies this year you can see we need squad improvement.
 
Two issues for me are;

Match fitness physically and mentally. The ridiculous misses highlight lack of the latter.

Why when we are are a week away from the start of the season are we playing lower league dross where football becomes secondary to a physical mauling?
 
They mean nothing , impressed with signings so far we would survive with current squad but add an experienced keeper , centre mid and a striker then we can push for top 6
