Still don’t understand why they haven’t updated the tickets and steaming part of the website home page.
It’s been unchanged for weeks still saying that we’ve sold 22,000 season tickets.
It’s baffling that an organisation like SAFC doesn’t have people keeping these things updated.

it absolutely is and also the website lacks so much, it's got very little of interest and takes 30 secs to read any new articles. I always thought that number 1 for when you have a website is to keep people on it...it's a pile of crap

Find it absolutely staggering that match day tickets for the Coventry match aren't on sale with a little over 2 weeks to go.

To maximise season ticket sales is just plain stupid. There will be no more surge. Anyone who wants a buy a season card while Coventry tickets are on sale will simply buy a season card

We’re painfully slow at just about everything on the commercial side of the club, everything from tickets including even away matches to merchandise seems last minute. I’m amazed Wembley got sorted so swiftly and painlessly.

South Stand selling well, looks like day trippers might have to settle for East and North Stand
North Stand preferably.

I can honestly say in the many years I have followed Sunderland away I have yet to have any bother with my tickets , neither have I had bother with my season ticket which i have had for 30 odd years.
I think the only trouble I had was when we played Portsmouth at Wembley. I took notice of what people were posting and used a tablet instead of my phone and everything was OK.

I’ve never had any bother personally either because my season ticket has always just rolled on into the next season, although for some awaydays it feels like tickets have came out very last minute which makes planning travel harder and more expensive. I’m just observing what I see season after season.

Take this summer for example, home strip came out very late, away strip still not out, buying tickets if you aren’t a season card holder has seemed a ball ache for a while now due to ticket office being deserted and not enough to pick up the phones. We have our first home match in little over 2 weeks away and still no details about tickets out. Just for a comparison I’ve went and looked at two other teams at home in the Championship same weekend as us, Blackpool and Blackburn - both have tickets to buy for their season openers.

I know some of it isn’t solely down to us, for example the kit issues seem to be because of the supplier we use, but if what I’ve read is right the reason we use them is because we opted to do it on the cheap. Hopefully the new senior management sort things out and this is a hangover from when Short didn’t know his arse from elbow through to Del and Rodney running the show.
