Why did the snooker world championship get aired. Minority sport. Got less viewers than women’s euros opener.

Sick of having snooker rammed down my throat by the BBC.

Or for that matter the challenge cup final. Or many many many other minority sports that are shown that strangely no one ever twists about.

@dom is going to love it when the Commonwealth Games start and there's women's bowls on prime time TV.

This might not go down too well but why are the BBC pushing this sport down our throats on their main channel?
Unbelievable the coverage for this minority sport.

My neices are now very keen football players due to watching England be middlingly successful at football.

For that reason, even though I dont watch it myself I'm pretty happy that the BBC and womens FA are encouraging young girls into sport.

It's a much better game than men's football. They don't roll around on the floor like idiots. It will change when more money is involved, but is stands it's a much better sport.

Because for some strange reason, these days, it’s almost seen as wrong to differentiate between mens and womens, as if it’s somehow sexist to acknowledge the differences both physically, athletically and culturally.

I honestly think a female footballer will sign for a mens team in my lifetime. They’re already talking about a female manager of a mens team. That will inevitably follow. And then it won’t be a mens team, will it? That’s the eventual goal though for some factions of society.
