This might not go down too well but why are the BBC pushing this sport down our throats on their main channel?
Unbelievable the coverage for this minority sport.

I agree women’s football is completely contrived. I’m not anti women’s sport - I think tennis and golf is of an incredibly high technical standard.

But Bbc are mirroring the presentation and coverage of men’s football with they women. They have also decided the WSL is the 4th most important league in the UK after SPL, EPL and chanpionship

The coverage is completely disproportionate to both the consumer interest and technical level - for reasons nothing to do with Sport

From my perspective, it's nice to see a growing number of men being kind and respectful towards women in sport, rather than ignorant feckers ranting about it.

Cant understand why ITV arent also covering it, seeing as they always cover the mens.

I'd tune in to see Roy Keane punditing on Iceland v Luxemburg live from the Man City training ground in front of 3500 spectators.

I'm all for the women having their own competition, but they need to be promoted on their own merit and played at venues that are suitable for the demand, not piggy-backing on the mens game. Austria v NI at St Mary's was embarrassing as there was hardly anyone there.
