I think it's mainly because it being shown on the BBC and it's in England this year. It's the same with Wimbledon, they don't a toss about other tennis tournaments then for 2 weeks it's all they waffle on about.

It's not a training ground, it's Manchester City's Academy Stadium, where their women's team play .

They've also sold over half a million tickets which is twice the number that were sold for the last Euros.
