I would say there are plenty of big player investors in clubs...just look at the multibillionaire Ruben brothers having 10% in Newcastle? What's the point you could say

Have I said INEOS are buying in? I've speculated as much as anyone else.....someone who comes in has got to be aligned with KLDs ambitions, show 2 years worth of running a club and stick a pot of money over to the EFL as a retainer...I dont think it's going to be another SD and CM that's for sure

I never said you did, I'm just talking in general terms.

All this talk of Radcliffe and reece are bad for the fanbase. Just creates disappointment and anger towards the club. It's a load of nonsense.

KLD doesn't intend to throw money at us though, he's very much looking to build the club sustainably. So if it's someone linked to him (which I agree is a possibility) then I'd be amazed if that changed, I'd expect a budget very similar to the one already agreed. Someone with deeper pockets would still be good (especially as it gets rid of Donald and Methven) but it wouldn't be likely to have a massive effect on what we can spend this summer to the point of moves breaking down if it doesn't happen.

If it was a major "I want to spend a fuck load and get the club straight up" type then that could affect possible deals, but realistically there aren't many like that around and they won't be buying a minority stake in a championship club. Like I say, not doubting deodrant, he does seem to hear things from the club, this one just surprises me and doesn't really make sense unless something is happening that we don't know about. Most players won't care about minority shareholders

to be fair to Deodrant2, he didn't actuality state it was the player with reservations about the ownership situation. From what he said it could be a number of things.

Aye, but missing out on players due to the takeover does somewhat limit the options and none of them really make sense. I doubt the players would care. Equally agents and selling clubs won't care as long as they get their money. For a minority share selling I would be amazed if there was any sort of transfer restriction as long as its within the existing budget (obviously if the whole club was going the buyer would be likely to request no signings until its done). If it isn't any of that then it could only really be missing out on players because they'll only come if we have a bigger budget, which would require the buyer to be pretty major which like I say I just don't see being likely at all. Hopefully someone will buy the shares soon and we can forget about all this mind
 
News like this, if true, is the reason why KLD should put the money up asap to get rid of the two wastrels at the earliest opportunity. Their share holding is not insignificant and if theyre refusing to put money in regardless of what has been agreed it could severely damage our plans going into the season. A good start is critical to having a succesful campaign.

Closer but as there is more than one party involved it takes time as efl have to check two at once without the fact they have to negotiate with kyril aswell to see if their vision meets theres

It depends if it is news, I wouldn't trust anything that makes it seem like giving Methven and Donald their price is the right thing to do.
