Boycott Qatar

Got to be really honest here, I’ll be watching it, be it England or otherwise.
Fair play mate. Got to respect everyone's choices. And I do. It ain't us against them, or 'winning' or some other shite, whatever the fuck that f***ing bollocks means. It's about choice. Mine is not to watch and yours is. And that is pretty much the end of it. That's ok. I think the world will still turn. Take care mate👍

The TV contracts have been signed, and unless you've been recruited by BARB to send your watching data to them, whether you watch or not doesn't matter.

Better to boycott anyone sponsoring the tournament, and let them know on social media that you are.

This is it. Follow the money.

Playing the World Cup in a country run by a regime which follows a similar path as the Taliban. Unbelievable

I intend to not watch it but in all honesty will probably watch most of the games.

Football governing bodies in general have no morals and it puts me off the game as a whole.

This - if everything connected to the tournament gets affected that is the only thing likely to have an impact. If companies judge it is bad PR to be involved then Qatar and FIFA get a kicking and at the very least FIFA would be less likely to repeat the exercise with a future WC.

My dad has already said he won't take an interest in it because of Qatar and the corruption around it. It'll also be a farce because of the heat. However, the same could be said for a host of other sporting events including previous World Cups. So yeah, difficult one. I'll probably be watching the games on the TV - I've no will power :):)

Well both are Sunni Muslims but Qatar has a followed a more Westernised agenda. I wouldn't really classify them as the same.

How hot do you think it will be in late November/early December?

I seem to have a contradictory stance, I frequent The Swan, I will not, not frequent The Swan, they will

have it on the T.V.s, I would be a liar if I said I wouldn't be glancing at it (supposed technically that's watching it)

however I will NOT have it on in the house, I assume the lower league domestic football won't be affected, I'll

get my fix from there.

Rich people paying heavy prices to sit in expensive stadiums that have seen the death of over 5,000 human beings. Footballers enjoying the privelidge of air condition surroundings adding to an environmental cost, only to see most of these white elephants dismantled 6 weeks later (will everyone survive that process?) . Meanwhile a struggling David Beckham bags 150m as the face of Qatari World Cup as his wife makes statements about ethics of the production of her companies products and clothing. Absolute disgraceful garbage.

I wo’t be watching any of it , hopefully league’s 1+2 will be screened on iFollow , I will be watching those games instead.
I won't be watching any of it. The way folks from "poor countries" are treat by this lot is a f***ing disgrace! Treat like dirt on the bottom of their shoes, they literally do not count them as human beings.
How is this going pal?
