A few have been used as useful idiots over the years certainly.I agree. Ive said for a few years that the itks on here have caused as much friction towards the club as madrox have.
Its a disgrace tbh

The voices in his headThought you must if been tipped off about who's buying
Aye, I really don't see it being anything to get excited over. Be mint to see the back of Donald and Methven but realistically I don't think kld wants to spend loads. Even if it was people who know him, we'd continue on as we are. Which is fine, but it's not exactly popping champagne stuff. I don't imagine any "blue chip" types who want to storm the PL would waste their time getting 39% of a club. I imagine it'll be some minor players, enough money to fund the club, maybe invest a little bit more than Donald could but basically happy to let kld continue in his drive for us to be self sufficient, happy to take a back seat and hopeful of a pay off down the line. For me, if it happens, getting rid of Donald and Methven will be great, and it'll be good just to have a settled ownership for a change so we can stop thinking about it, but I don't think anything will change in terms of our plans or ambitionsPeople are carried away because the itks saying 'money will be spent' and 'blue chip backers'.
i agree with you mate after initially believing the hype - but realistically it makes no sense for a big player to purchase a minority stake. i personally hope it is somebody who's vision and values reciprocate the clubs and, like you say, can provide a settled ownership group as we aim to self sustain and make ourselves a club that is able to compete for top 6 in the Championship with the bigger picture being the Premiership.Aye, I really don't see it being anything to get excited over. You don't have to read the threads, just in case you didn't realise. Can @RTGAdmin do us all a favour and delete this thread, also any future thread that has “ITK”, “over/ower the road” or any similar related zaniness.
True, but it would be helpful if threads like this (a fairly significant issue for all of us) could remain on topic instead of pages and pages of nothing. You don't have to read the threads, just in case you didn't realise.
Well, staying on topic, what have you heard that is significant?True, but it would be helpful if threads like this (a fairly significant issue for all of us) could remain on topic instead of pages and pages of nothing.
I just want rid of those two and who ever comes in to work with KLD as he takes us forward. We might not spend loads, but I'm liking what he's setting up so far.Aye, I really don't see it being anything to get excited over. This ties in with a lot of peoples thoughts.I just want rid of those two and who ever comes in to work with KLD as he takes us forward. We might not spend loads, but I'm liking what he's setting up so far.
That would be the dream of any club I reckon. I'm trying to be a bit more realistic tbh, and I wouldn't want owners like what the mags got. Too much baggage with them. This ties in with a lot of peoples thoughts.
Meself im more of a route one supporter wanting a f....g git minted billionaire to buy them all out and give Neilsy a 100 mill war chest.
FTM
Hopefully that will all back fire, saudis will soon lose interest. That would be the dream of any club I reckon. I'm trying to be a bit more realistic tbh, and I wouldn't want owners like what the mags got. Too much baggage with them.
Exactly mate. Short chucked money at it. But it was criminally wasted. I remember at one point we were one of the biggest spenders in Europe. He should if used his vast wealth to get the right people in right from the start. Takes more than players to build a club correctly.Hopefully that will all back fire, saudis will soon lose interest.
I'm hoping KLD is well advised unlike Shorty.
Imagine where we would be now if Shorty had been guided by proper people.

The 2 amigos are selling up.
Thats it.
How are we getting on then? They’ve bought themselves 5 weeks of doing nothing on transfers or the club. Genius.![]()
It’s exactly what blue chip types want. They don’t want to spunk millions up the wall. By having a sustainable model of bringing through the academy is going to take a fair amount of time to get to the PL and become established but they would stand to make a lot more money out of it. There’s a reason KLD said he’d be around for about 10years.Aye, I really don't see it being anything to get excited over. These supposed ITK’s are the ones that get the fans backs up against the club. Blue chip backers, celebratory drinks etc. When it doesn’t happen the normal everyday fan thinks the current owners are deliberately f***ing the club off.
Just all made up nonsense
