Netherlands v England ODISeries start on 17/6/22 10am skysports cricket

The format they used to use with group stage and knockout was fine, ICC only changed it after India knocked out of the group stage in 2007
Tidied
Keysweater ex England Wickie has just had a winner at Royal Ascot , candleford @11/2

he owns the horse
Really unlucky with his eye injury as could have had a very decent career with england. Will have to settle for world t20 winner and MOTM in the final

Lads dressed as condom packets, beer being downed from a clog (which ended up on the outfield) About 10× the size of the crowd in pints of Heineken being consumed.

Can only be an England cricket tour in Amsterdam

England shouldn’t be playing these guys three times .
It can only be for the money because it’s a total mismatch on a par with Durham playing Yorkshire at the present moment

But let's face it these games are a waste of everyone's time.

I disagree, good for cricket in Netherlands.

Also good for younger players to be given a chance. Really don’t see the point in playing Roy, Malan, Moeen, Rashid etc in games like this. Other than boosting their stats (maybe not Roy).

That's kind of the point. Our 1st team dishing out a hiding to the Dutchies is utterly utterly pointless.

498 ffs.

Looks like everyone had a great time, jealous of anyone who went.

Is it more of a waste of time than the 2 month we spent in Australia?

I don't think we'll get anything out of it so I'm paying it minimal attention but it's definitely important to help the associate member nations

I can remember how shit Durham were for the first half a dozen seasons as a first class county and people doubting we should have been awarded the status after that game at Warwickshire when Lara scored his 501.

Cricket desperately needs to grow as a global sport, it's crap the same 8 or so countries dominate tournaments. The white ball formats are the ones that are easiest to spread the game so that's where we are.

We are, theoretically at least, a competitive Test playing nation who could win in Australia. :)

If we're blooding some young players, playing their best team and making a game of it, there's merit. But smashing some club players all over is a waste of time.

That said, if I was able I'd be there. Looks like a belting excuse for a holiday.

I'd have taken a development side mind. That wouldn't have lowered the quality either as we have a tonne of depth.
