Didn't stick a cap on them but highest we got to was was 36k. Anyone could still go and buy one though. That was just how many we sold for a couple of seasons (2000/01, 2001/02).

I definitely remember mention of a cap in a statement by Murray, to ensure opportunities for new or occasional supporters to attend, but whether we reached it or not is another matter.

Just pulled my Boro mate at work and showed him this....no wonder they cannot shift their tickets..even he didnt realise they wee that much
