If he is there will be a lot of surprised old timers at Durham. As far as the music goes "I'm the resurrection" by the Stone Roses would be very appropriate.

That was the joke I was hinting at :D

I don't think any of his 'Disciples' still go to the matches either - certainly haven't seen 'Darlo Eddie' for a few seasons at the Riverside and he was the last of them.

Would be great if he was still with us.

Sadly I can confirm Darlo Eddie is no longer with us. Wasn't that long ago he died. About a year ago I think.
 
Michael Vaughan in the DT this morning criticising Leach in terms of saying he may be not good enough but that's not his fault.
He's also saying no one is good enough and the reason is spinners don't bowl enough balls.
He compares Leach and Parkinson have only bowled 6000 balls bowled in 1st class in his career so far to the number bowled by Monty Panesar and Swann 16000 and 17000 respectively and also Tuffers 22000 at the same age!
He also says the FECB have got to do something to fix it!
I'm just thinking what a cheek, everyone's been saying there needs to be more County Cricket and it keeps getting cut back with Vaughan cheerleading all the cuts.

Was a concert in the early 70s. A later pic has Emerson, lake and palmer picking up a music award at the oval
