But neither are the lads we are playing
We’ve got a couple lads who are really highly rated
Just an example for me is not continuing with Scott steel in t20 then end up signing Robinson

Scott Steel refused the offer of a contract extension.
We could field a very strong side of solely academy products if not for England call ups and fall out from the sanctions. What really concerns me is that supply line appears to have dried up. No one has come through in the last 3 years.
It wasn’t a very good offer like, and he felt they didn’t rate hin
It’s defs dried up but you wouldn’t convince me we couldn’t have had 1 academy lad in the t20 batting line up
I don’t think it’s a priority for north and Franklin

Looks like either Clark or Bushnell for spare batting spot and two from Salisbury Coughlin and Mcalindon for the seamers.
Out of interest has anyone who has been attending the T20 games seen Dickson knocking about? It must be a proper hamstring injury.

Two people who I chat to at the County Championship matches said they have seen Turner a couple of times at the T20 since his injury but not Dickson.

Not seen Dickson around. Did the club even announce he's injured, likewise do we know the extent of the injury for Turner?

Sometimes I wonder if its easier to get information from North Korea than it is from Durham Cricket.

I don't think anything official. With Turner I think it was a case of general agreement on here watching the stream from Northants "he's fu#ked" and Tye turned up signed up for the rest of the tournament.
With Dickson I think he wobbled off the field during the game against Glamorgan either injured or desperately needing to use trap 2 and has never been seen again.
Tim Wellock bemoaned this back in 1992 and in subsequent years since then all the way up until his retirement.
Clearly the club have never been interested in improving it. Madness.

There used to be a lass working at the club ( I think she was called Yvonne) who used to be more cooperative if you wanted to know something about the club. This was around the time the club website had an interactive message board that you could post on as the games were going on. Must have been around 10 years ago.
