Other than that nobody has a clue whats happening currently. Is the proposed buyer a crook? i dont think so, does he have the money to buy the club? i think so. He was supposed to pay the wages at the end of May but the money never appeared, why is he on Twitter being so chipper 100% sure the money is going through??someone within the club paid the wages, nobody knows who that was.

As for Rooney ive no idea. Is he linked to the buyer? his agent has some history with the people mentioned, is mel morris still in there pulling the strings? there are all sorts or rumours about that. Whats happened to the Administrators who are not releasing any statements or responding to anything.

The sportscene man on Radio Derby LIVE now is saying that he knos from a source he trusts 100% that Mike Ashley has £28 million sat there in the bank now waiting to buy the club but the EFL wont step in to mediate with the Administrators who seem to be set this Kirchner bloke and refusing any contact with Ashley when the excusivity period or whatever it is called was up weeks ago

Very sad news for Derby but looking at it brutally this is one less rival for us, even if we are in different tiers.

For anyone interested...............after listening to the local sports special it does seem that Ashley is waiting in the wings and WILL get the club. Current bloke cant complete the deal for whatever reason, administrators are going to remove his period of excusivity, Ashley and another unknown group are waiting with lesser offers that the administrators/creditors/EFL will be forced to accept. Played his usual blinder by all accounts, will pick the club up for next to nowt IF this Yank Kirchner cant get the deal over the line next 24 hours. Still massive questions about what Mel Morris is upto behind the scenes and his relationship with Ashley/Kirchner.

I care tbh. I get what you mean, but I hope this is a "near miss" which further highlights the need for reform. I don't want to see people losing their club. I know they'd create a phoenix club like but there'll be loads of families, just like we had down Wembley, who would suddenly lose the club that their late grandparents supported etc. At a time when life is shit enough for people with rocketing cost of living increases the last thing anyone needs is a kick in the balls like that. Hopefully Ashley gets them because, for all he's a cock, at least you imagine the club would survive. Mind when this stuff happens to clubs I also feel for the creditors, many of whom will be small, independent companies that will get next to fuck all of the money they're due. The football industry badly needs a shake up
