The local rag have even wrote an article on it now ‘we had a bus parade years ago don’t forget about us’

FFS! Now they've won the losing finalists bus parade cup. I thought we'd have had a chance of winning it after thousands turned up for the 1992 fa cup losing finalists but we were obviously dwarfed by the millions of Geordies in 98 and 99.

Newcastle also won the smash up the Bigg Market cup for consecutive years in 98 and 99. The red phone boxes got destroyed with baying mobs screaming 'We hate Sunlun'. I guess because they were red?

If I'm on holidays and any mags see my sunderland tattoo some call me a Mackem whatever, when I say I'm born and bred Northumbrian and proud to be, they say that's worse than coming from sunderland and I should be supporting newcastle . I always reply to them Not every one from this side of the water supports the mags.

Good on ya. Should have really confused them and said na I considered it but I wouldnt support a club owned by murderers.

Mags all over this kids twitter....will French day be returning?

Any knowledgeable mags confirm if signing for Newcastle has helped a players French career?

Well unless Bob is less than a year old that wouldn’t really work, would it?
62 year old lads being ganning on for years , in Turkey last week bloke sees me safc shorts me cossie lol , went alright mate where ya from told him Holywell near whitley bay ,he laughed and said he was a geordie ( black and white ). But was from Durham. I laughed and called him a plastic mag and Durham mags were the worst kind. Never spoke to me rest of the week.

Isnt it technically born from within the boundaries of Newcastle City? But now anything from Gateshead up into Northumberland it seems.
Spitting distance of the Tyne. It's not exclusive to the city of Newcastle, which ironically has the smallest proportion of Geordies than anywhere else on the Tyne.
Any self-respecting Northumbrian would never class themselves as a Geordie.
North of the Tyne is historically and traditionally in Northumberland

I've been happy to give them credit for how they went about their business in January, but Ekitike is absolutely the sort of signing I hope they make. Hyped teenager with little experience and a big transfer fee who will be expected to contribute quickly at a club with zero record of developing young players in recent years. Complete boom or bust transfer. It gives me hope that they'll continue to reach for players they thought were "above them", as opposed to being sensible.

Absolutely creaming themselves over this. They get bitter about everything sunderland don't they.... even Ed Sheeran

Its been nearly a full month now of people talking about Sunderland. Play off semis then the Wembley scenes now concerts.
It's eating them up mind
It has absolutely ruined their 2022 like

“Whyala makkumzz on thaaa telee n get tan lerdsa meedya attenshunnnnn ????? Div la meedya not undaastaaand wuh jawdeeezz a spendan big tronsfor feez on shyte futbaalaz?”

Always baffles me when they go on about us having cheaper tickets as if it’s a bad thing. They are thick as shite

In my experience the thickest and most vocal mags are the ones who dont give a toss about ticket prices as they never go to the matches anyway.

They watch sky and make tits of themselves online about being "loyal supporters" purely because they buy a shirt once in a while

It’s why they won’t do anything like a Man City or Chelsea. Those clubs when they made business also hurt their rivals in the process by taking their better players. Let’s say they have top 4 ambitions, it’s the equivalent of them now signing the likes of Son, Saka, Odegaard and Hojberg. This simply wont happen.
