well quite...but they will have used a lot of borrowed money on top of what clinet equity they put in..so the returns could be outsized indeed

So the thread about how bad RTG is ..do you consider that a sensible football discussion ?i was banned for questioning smug's takeover thread ..i wasnt rude, aggressive or defamatory ..i simply disagreed with smug and he got his mate the sheriff to use the "ban hammer's he called it.....I personally hate that sort of cronyism but as your banned for life you have no comeback....

Liquidation is ongoing, so he's not formally disqualified ... yet. However, he's involved in active insolvency proceedings, and so would fail the owner/director test.

Been months since the RTG thread was posted on as far as I'm aware and was created to prevent other threads being clogged up with comments about it. You have picked 1 thread out of hundreds where there is good debate, bit hey ho.

Do you consider this thread a sensible discussion where 606 is mentioned every 3rs post and posters from there slagged off for posting on a different board.

I don't recall Smug ever having any power to get anyone banned as far as I'm aware he is just another poster.

There are people who disagree on there. I’m always at it and have survived. There are less wind up merchants on there, less player haters and some good posters like Wheatsheaf and Prehab. Here has some great insight though from people like grumps and tactic threads and I like (but hate) the match day threads on here.

Never been on it, but prehab was sound on here. Just taking the lad at his word that he's been banned for simply asking a question, if true doesn't sound great.

At the time there was a few off here joining 606 Specially to take pot shots at Reiver and oddy seemed to be one of them.

People just need to calm down, it’s ok. People who might have heard something are well entitled to post this without being asked for absolute proof, be told they are full of shit or be targeted years after the event.

But there is nowt the matter with other mackems having their own space to discuss anything and everything. I personally love this board, with the exception of the politics forum sometimes due to the way some posters go on and you'll probably be just as likely to get an idiot on this board as you will on there. You get your section of idiots no matter where they go.

However concerning the takeover a couple of them claim to be ITK, just like people on here claim to be ITK. Some might be, some definitely won't be. Unfortunately people are just too impatient nowadays to wait and see what comes of any given situation. They claim it's as good as over the line....only time will tell. I hope they're right though but obviously taking everything with a pinch of salt until I hear any news confirming or denying.
