If you don't mind me saying you seem incredibly keen to dismiss any possibility of Sunderland progressing.

Instead of being so angry why not just sit back and smile?

‘So angry’. Give owa man. It’s just being a little bit rational / skeptical.

What solid information is there to suggest this particular rumour is representative of the possibility of Sunderland progress? If there was even the remotest bit of detail made available about who was in negotiations, who they were in negotiations with and for what amount of shares and a hint of what they hoped for then maybe I would get excited about it. At the minute, there’s nothing other than dancing gifs and ambiguity on another forum.

There just seems to be so little substance to anything being said. I've no idea how long they'd keep them, do they genuinely have a figure they'd sell for or is it just a game until they get a ridiculous offer, who knows.

We'll, Donald has said he wants to sell and KLD says he wants the situation resolved.

If you dismiss that then there's very little substance.

My point is those claiming it is done have such little information that why wouldn't anyone be anything other than sceptical.

Perhaps angry is the wrong word.

"A few posters backslapping each other on how ITK they are and how great the forum is."

This for me.

Anyone else just sick of all this cryptic bollocks, everyone seems to know exactly what’s going on but no one says a single thing that means anything. Its all dancing emojis or eye emojis 😂 just tell us whats garn on man
Agreed, and it's the same here too at times this isn't something that only happens over the road.

I’m pretty sure that people who drink in the wheatsheaf on Sundays are only ITK about drinking from the drip tray and picking up tab ends
There was a shitty little boozer in Shedfield called The Globe (now student flats), our erstwhile FD David Stonehouse and his friends Graham Wylie, Paul Walker (both of sage fame) and Chris Scott amongst others used to drink in there before mags games and other occasions as they knew they'd not be bothered by anyone. I've passed the Wheatsheaf hundreds of times and been in a handful but it's never struck me as somewhere frequented by international movers and shakers.

well david jones..a club dorector said something about the ownership situation needing clearing up quickly..

well we do need it sorted but all clubs have sharehodlers with an eye on what they can get back..thats why they are shareholders..man city won the league with owners constantly watching what they can get back.
What they get back is value on a marketing spend, completely different to wanting tangible profit on shares.

To save my crawling back through - can't you just simply answer whether you know something we don't, or that you are speculating
I’ve met him twice. Both at Sunderland away games, in a relatively close setting through a corporate invite.

He’s wasn’t that arsed about football when he was a kid. He wasn’t that arsed about football at the time I met him.

He didn’t even know who played for us.

He’ll have had any number of opportunities to buy us over the last twenty years and has chosen not to. The only difference I can see now, is that he’s at the age where he might want to play with his fortune. All things considered, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

He’s not “passionate” about Sunderland Football Club.

Nobody has any idea really, just a load of people hoping that summit does happen and they can say “I told you so” without actually giving any details at all

yes absolutely..so their prioritires are that..though they also get sweetkheart deals off manchester council and will make fortunes on property dveelopment around the City as well..the club will also be profitbale now...

I've no idea why people would keep going on other forums, reading things they don't believe, then getting wound up.

Why not just wait for Sky Sports News or a club statement?

It's like poking your finger in a wasps nests then moaning because you've been stung.
