Could this be an attempt to deflect away from any serious investment this summer......no doubt it will rumble on for weeks and then fall through as the chancers refuse to sell for a realistic price.

Then it will be the ready made excuse for spending peanuts.

Much of that is true marra, although JR does not have a house in Switzerland. The rumour of him investing is not true either. Just him watching the lads at Wembley has made someone add the sums up wrong.
 
Regarding Reece, saw this on Twitter yesterday (aye anar).

Apparently Reece is the uncle of the lad on the text who asked him if it was true and apparently it's bullshit.

Of course he might just be saying that to keep things quiet.

Call me a cynic etc and I'm not saying the deal will happen. Just not sure I believe a bloke worth 5bn is replying to a message from a lad from sunderland in 10 minutes :lol:

The more posted the better, it’s probs all coming from different sources as well so information will be different.

The way some go on if it’s not true or doesn’t happen is hilarious, I really couldn’t let something like that get to me.
Just choose to ignore it if you don’t like the information/rumours that are posted.

Do you not think though that if someone is ‘ITK’ at one stage, they’re likely to get stuff from other ITKs rather than directly from the club, hence info comes through under several owners etc? I have no idea what’s true and what isn’t, but it would explain how someone gets stuff despite so many changes in the club

Potentially. Got no issues with those who are itk. Deodrant is a good lad, as is oli wagkz. Just think it's a soap opera, not always there fault mind. Bob gets hammered regardless :lol:

I'm sceptical about it all but if it was his uncle then I don't think it's unfeasible to get a fairly quick reply to a text. Of course, it may be all made up.

I just can’t take him seriously since that time the German consortium were supposed to be buying us. He was giving us live updates from his guy in the meeting. Effectively all signed just waiting for the ink to dry. 10 minutes later takeover off Simon Grayson appointed… 🙄🙈

Aye. I can’t stand the cryptic shite and the ones you quote tend to just say it like it is which obviously makes it much more believable
 
Surely the most feasible resolution to Donald and Methven leaving is them being bought out by the Louis Dreyfus family. And after that the next most likely is the Sartori/Rybololev family. It's possible that another billionaire wants to get involved but it's less likely than the other options surely.
