In fairness, Strauss, the ‘cycling man’ and the ‘football man’ know a fair bit about ‘high performance’ given their successes in their respective fields.

Given that the aim is to make England "the best in the world at all formats of the men's game within the next five years" this is a welcome ‘review’ and certainly seems like the people responsible for making this happen want to make sure no stone is left unturned.

It could fail miserably, but it seems like an obvious step in the right direction to me.

@The Rat @chunkylover53 @TheRey @brandon should all have been on the committee.

Bairstow captain or dropped for good, depending on who won the fight between Rat and Rey, Foakes to play 100 tests, Burns to open in all three formats, rest of the team consisting of Durham players and some borderline worrying behaviour throughout.
Excuse me, I’m the font on cricket and a great exponent of nonsensical decisions

I’m happy for you to put my name forward aslong as the expenses and the catering is decent ;).
