According to Alan Nixon….

I think all were inevitable. I am a McGeady fan but knew this was the end. Burge would have gone in January if he had been well enough/we had enough keepers - I think he'd have gone in the summer if he had realised Hoffmanm was going to replace him so quickly.. Xhemajli looked ok but only that, Willis looked good but has lost more or less two seasons and I can only hope he can resume his career thoughI suspect League One may be his peak now, a real shame.

If that's true, it shows what a nut job of a club we were.im all for helping players get back Iin their feet, help with rehabilitation and pay them a wage. I draw the line at silly wages. I'm amazed the chuckle brothers would have sanctioned that mind. We had little leeway with wages as it is.
Might have saved them a wedge in medical claims against the club!

Aye can’t disagree with you very unfortunate
Unfortunate by he was very badly treated by LJ. He had a knee issue and Parkinson was trying to manage him and not play him 3 times per week and not in the pizza cup games. LJ just played him week in week out. He played him for 90 minutes on a gluepot of a pitch at MKDons in a pizza cup game. He saw Willis hobble off after 15 minutes of a midweek home game against Plymouth not able to put any weight down in his knee. He was then in the starting line up on the Saturday. All this with Dion Sanderson sitting on the bench. It was called by some posters on here what would happen next and sure as eggs is eggs his knee went and he hasn't played again.

Anyway good luck to the lad I hope he continues to make a living within the game.

You can’t blame Johnson if medical staff and the player say he’s fit.

You love Parky marra!

Good if we've started the ball rolling on squad replacement. If we're serious about the future there's no room for sentiment and no time to waste. I'm confident that AN won't piss about, he'll hopefully have his targets and move quickly to get them in. Exciting times.
they have to annouince it by tomorrow..its not an option otherwise...its not AN being more or less dynamic than anyone else
