Fat Mike didn't pay a penny to display all his tat / naming stadiumYou haven’t addressed my point, when Ashley did this with Sports Direct (naming the stadium and all the advertisements) all hell broke loose and a fake funeral was held ffs. Yet when Saudi put their influence on the club, all is fine? Surely, you must see the hypocrisy there? Or if Alshley was ploughed money in the way that is anticipated no one would have cared about the stadium changes and moving of shearers statue?

And didn't charge a penny on the interest free loan that kept the club solvent.Fat Mike didn't pay a penny to display all his tat / naming stadium
The image of the three of them in fancy dress eating takeaway with that Alwaleed dodgepot is still etched on my retinas. Sportswashing aside what the fuck was that about.Liam Kennedy likes it there’s a surprise! Zero morals, spends his time with Wraith and Keith the Durham mag says it all about him

Starting to miss big Mike tbh. Starting to realise the bloke was a saint. Just a shame the football was dire.And didn't charge a penny on the interest free loan that kept the club solvent.

The thick bastards are lapping it up.
He paid off a hefty debt that was left over by Shepard/Hall and pumped a load of money into the club when you got relegated to ensure an instant return to the PL. Therefore, I think he was entitled to advertise Sports Direct at SJP, which is the mags favourite shop judging by their dress sense.Fat Mike didn't pay a penny to display all his tat / naming stadium
Nobody knows, but I personally don’t think they could do much worse than this. Unless you could suggest otherwise. Also remember these 2nd and 3rd strips are only for one season so it will probably just be a distant memory season after next.Where will this end? Assuming signings keep getting made, points keep getting won - what would they (the owners) have to do for fans to revolt and say enough is enough? Serious answers only from our resident mags.

No alcohol is never going to happen. The only thing possible out of the above is the 39th game, but that would be an EPL thing, rather than Saudi. Faith rooms are standard at big venues nowadays.,I am sure you are being sarcastic. He wasn't a saint - his pockets just weren't deep enough and he operated on a break even model to stay in the Prem.
For me the blame lies firmly with Chelsea and Abramovich - he caused the sea change in football finance (June 2003) with an international in each position earning top wages then Man City (August 2008) took it to the next level. Even if it was Blackburn owned by PIF I'd still be p****d off as they have the potential to distort the entire market. Liverpool & Man Utd have their prior successes and global brand to leverage out of.
In reality the shirt is nothing, but it is symbolic - it will be barely worn for starters.
Are any of the following possible?
- no alcohol in the ground during Ramadan? (I have delivered courses/seminars to Saudis in hotel meeting rooms where they have requested all alcohol to be removed, signage removed etc.);
- a ladies only section;
- no pork products;
- games moved to suit Saudi tv?
- games played in Saudi (top teams already keen on the 39th game - Mags about to vote yes?)
They own 80% and can do what the feck they like and they know they can as long as they dangle the carrot of success....
I expect a faith room to be opened soon - many clubs already have one and it is a natural next step.
- a minaret on the Leazes end to call people to prayer and hoy hermersexuals offI am sure you are being sarcastic. He wasn't a saint - his pockets just weren't deep enough and he operated on a break even model to stay in the Prem.

Why not - they own you and can do what they want? They are your paymasters and you must dance to their tune.No alcohol is never going to happen.
