Anyone tried the Calimoto app? Used for the first time on a ride to Hawes last week, took me on some fantastic roads, I never knew existed. it's free and would recommend.

I’ll be honest I dont use apps on the bike, some of the best roads are found by accident or when lost. We’re very lucky up here as on any day we could visit either Yorkshire, north Pennines, Cumbria and lakes, Northumberland or Scottish Borders. Some days just look at where the sky is brightest and head that way.

They've just fetched a new one out, the edge iirc... Tbf the freecom 1 would do me, as im a sole rider, but i wanted the voice recognition. Went for the freecom4 but the control wheel is in a ridiculous place, on the bottom, so everytime you look left it would turn the wheel and set it haywire. Went for the bold without the wheel and serves me admirably. Would love to see how the dmc works on it but everything else is a dream. Class kit.

A mate of mine has a FatBoy with a bored and tuned engine in it, his footboards are like razor blades on the edges. I'll see if I can dig out a photo.

Went out this morning on the W650. The weather was that cool breezy you get before it rains, fantastic for riding. Parked up for a coffee at a “biker” hangout and spent a good 15 minutes explaining that it wasn’t a beezer or a triumph…
Understandable I guess as they are rare as rocking horse shit over here, only imported for 2 years (2001/2). But it is without doubt the mot enjoyable bike to ride I have ever owned.

Anyone know anything about the BMW F900R, looked at one today in Bucks, the Boldon garage has three in, but pricey, that or a Z650?

I bought a SONDORS electric bicycle, and love it, and am tempted to go for a SONDORS Metacycle now that they are shipping. - range and top speed aren’t phenomenal, but would be good for an easy commute. Are these available in the UK? or are any other electric motorbikes? - and what’s the consensus amongst the bikers on here?

Plenty of EV bikes available in the UK, even Harley sell the Livewire over here but I think the most popular brand is Zero Motorcycles. The only full size leccy motorbike I've ever seen being ridden was a Zero, it looked just like a normal bike, but silent.
