Today was like most other performances since he took over. Pretty solid at the back but not much going forward.

Spot on.
I take you didn't see Nathan Broadhead break into the box in the inside left channel, clean through on the keeper, forced him into a save.

I'll help you. O'Nien horribly scuffed the rebound with his left foot.

I'm really surprised you ignore any positive. Shocked 😂

Wow. Barrel scraping much?!

:D:D

I’ve had plenty of positive things to say about Alex Neil. However if it’s shite, like it was again today, I’m going to say it’s shite.

Did we create a single good chance today, against another team that was just letting us have the ball?

It’s been poor for weeks in terms of our general attacking play. We just didn’t get our customary last-gasp crack-papering goal this time. As some of us predicted would start to happen unless we improve.

Still not sure what today had to do with Lee Johnson. Really weird and random thing for you to say.
So on one hand you have said lots of positive things about Neil yet today we were shite and our last minute wins were papering over the cracks? And you like to think you say it as it is

It's exactly what you said you didn't see. I've proved you 100% incorrect.

But crack on. Yawn.

Are you for real? You’re calling that a really good chance?

What do you think they’d be saying about their keeper had Broadhead somehow put it in from that angle?!:lol:

That fact that’s all you can come up with tells the whole story. Another shite, toothless, turgid performance. No last minute winner to cover up the problems this time around.

Yes - because, as my posts bear out, I don’t blame Alex Neil. I blame our poor recruitment and the holes in our unbalanced squad. Neil is operating under the same problems as the previous manager.

Not everyone always blames the manager for everything, you know. Some of us think bad performances can be down to other things.

I think it's less of us being poor in the final third and more they are solid at the back and have shown why they haven't conceded at home for ages.

OK so if we accept the the recruitment has been bad and many of the players aren’t up to it and the squad is unbalanced etc. I don’t disagree with that necessarily. However that is what we have and if we are winning with late goals and drawing away to 4th place Plymouth, unbeaten in 9, 1 defeat under Neil at just about 2 points per game. All of that despite having a poor unbalanced squad. Is that not a good thing and at present does only the result really matter? Is it unrealistic to expect convincing wins with good performances if the squad is a bad and unbalanced as you say it is?

Promotion is what matters. I don’t think we can qualify for - and then win - the playoffs looking as toothless as we do. Unless we improve we won’t go up. In my opinion of course - but I honestly don’t think anyone could reasonably disagree.

Maybe we will improve going forward in the next fortnight, particularly if we get Pritchard back. I hope we do. However for now, I’m going to be honest and say that today was absolutely shit; and that our general attacking play has been poor for weeks.

Just in to see the score, been doing a likely lads avoiding the score

It might well have been piss poor/shite but that's a fine point against a side who's been doing well at home.

From here on in its about taking full points.

Mate you need to log off and have a think , we are unbeaten in 10 games , 7 wins 3 draws going into the play offs with serious momentum. Your arguments are childish and frankly pathetic.

Putting aside the weird and needlessly aggressive tone of your post, you’re confusing results and form. They’re not the same.

Everyone is happy with the results in the main. Some of us are just pointing out that we are are not playing well going forward, we don’t create many chances. and we’ve been an aggregate ten minutes away from our season being well and truly over across about four games recently. We were never going to keep popping up with unlikely stoppage time winners. If we don’t play better, and soon, results will most likely suffer.

We don't create many chances?

We only scored 3 against Shrewsbury, hit the bar and had a few other decent chances, the excellent save from Stewart the pick. There's 5 chances.

Doesn't exactly follow your narrative does it?

Obviously I know you don't deal in facts so you can probably ignore this post.

No, we generally don’t create many chances. Hence you needing to cherry pick a previous game, when we played one a few hours ago.
