Its interesting as an outsider to view comments in this thread, I might be wrong but for the years I have been here I have generally felt you guys let Man City off the hook and back them quite extensively compared to how you now view the owners of Newcastle.

Maybe it was just fun seeing someone new break up the "same old teams monopoly"

The difference of course is Newcastle are our fiercest rivals…regarding City, I think our fans historically see a lot of similarities between them and us ( particularly before they became rich ) .
Similarly the City fans are generally very down to earth ( like us ) rather than those twats up the road
