Quality of the Premier League

Really struggle to sit through premier league games these days. The referee blows up for a soft foul every two minutes and VAR is awfully applied. The product is slow and stop start.

The only team I enjoy watching is Liverpool.

It’s because there’s so much money involved now. Money is to blame for all of it. It’s the money that makes teams set up with five across the middle. It’s the money that makes most teams more afraid to lose, than eager to win. It’s the money that brought about the VAR bollocks. It’s the money that incentivises all of the cheating, the time wasting and the diving.

The game was much better and much more enjoyable before all the f***ing money turned up.
 
Another problem is teams like Norwich and Brighton trying to play like Man City but without anywhere near the same quality or cutting edge. So boring, I'd rather watch Burnley.

Not really, there's always been garbage games. It's the same as it was a decade ago. Birmingham finished top half under Alex McCleish and West Brom finished top half under Steve Clarke.

Most competitive league in the world, probably aye. But there's much better entertainment in numerous European leagues.

The Spanish league has some of the worst football to watch in Europe.

Premier League is the best and the best entertainment

I kind of agree with you. However the little I’ve watched of the championship this season has been diabolical so I’d want out of that too eventually
 
I think what’s happened in the Premier League is there isn’t as many contrasting styles as before. Everyone tries to play a version of three in the middle and building from the back.
