Shambolic that draw. Jermaine Jenas FFS! and those constraints, what are they all about? how come we can play Scotland or Wales yet Saudi Arabia can't play in same group as Iran?. Just as well really, as that would've literally of been the group of death. England, USA , Iran and Saudi Arabia :) think we dodged a bullet there, ok that's enough of the puns.

That draw was marginally more exciting than the Eurovision Song Contest, just put a load of numbered balls in a Goldfish bowl like the FA Cup FFS !
 
The Senagalese players will all be sporting gold watches after their narrow defeat to Qatar.

It's the Spain group that's a worry, I feel we might end up playing the second in that group if we top ours or to if we finish second.

Belgium are at the end of their golden generation and Brazil are very beatable these days. Of course, it depends on our lads turning up but I think we have a great chance. I think you can see the signs are there with France last year, and they just absolutely capitulated against Switzerland? Their problem I think is a bit like us under the 'golden generation' that some of their players egos are gonna cost them

Whatever money pubs lost the last two winters or so they're gonna make it back just on the Monday and Friday :lol: :lol:

It’s because there are 13 European teams so it’s impossible to split them as you can the other federations
 
There’s a lot of good games to look forward to.

England should win their group but can’t be complacent.

All 3 opponents will sit deep and make themselves difficult to break down. Playing Wales or Scotland will be a nice game to get the adrenaline going before the knockout stages.
 
I will be making the most of my Netflix subscription while this pointless sportswashing cup is on. I’m surprised NUFC aren’t in it along with North Korea and China.

Looks the like the “opening game” Qatar vs Ecuador is actually going to be the 3rd game

Holland v Senegal 10am
Us vs Iran 1pm
Qatar 4pm

Iran did well in the last world cup nearly getting out the group with Spain and Portugal in it, wouldn't be surprised if it's us and Iran getting through to the knock outs.

1pm on Monday is a crap time to play but the other two are good.
