Bardo or Chimbo

Bardo would win just for his old Trafford death strike for me.

It used to frustrate me that he was our right back for so long but he always give his all looking back.
Our lack of ability to recruit someone better was more frustrating.

He’s turned out with hindsight to be a solid premier league standard right back and full credit to him.

Bardsley overall.Steady, but shite at passing. But Chimbonda had a class game against the mags though.2-1 Richardson game

Canny strike on him but couldn’t cross a ball

Decent full back for a team only focused on survival

My frustration back then were when we looked to be kicking on in the prem to get into the top half consistently he wasn’t at that level

Nout wrong with people wanting him replaced problem was we replaced him with Gardner, Billy Jones, Vergini and Donald Love

Bardsley for us definitely. Career wise (since us) I wasn’t fully sure.

I was intrigued what happened to them, so checked on their careers after us…

Bardsley has consistently been in the premier league since he left us (Stoke & Burnley), but he hasn't made an appearance this season and only 4 last season.

Chimbinda went to the likes of Blackburn, Doncaster & Carlisle after a 2nd short stint at Tottenham.

Bardsley all the way.

Depends which Bardo turned up. The one that was trying to prove a point because he'd been dropped/replaced/we were playing Man U/Man City/Liverpool, or the complacent Bardo that would daydream about a Tuesday sesh in The Mill.

Quality wise, Chimbonda was the best right back we had in those ten Premier League seasons.
