Summer Holidays - who



I’m figuring out ways of visiting Scotland whilst avoiding the NC500.
 
Just got back from lanzerote, looking to book malaga early June have a look at Seville , Granada . Probs do a Turkey cheapy in September , then we've got Lapland at Xmas and I want to see Angkor wat in the new year if Cambodia is opened up. It I get the urge mid summer might drive over to France and camp
Retiring back end of May so going to make use of the freedom to get away , then I might drop back into a bit of private work next year
 
Jun (start) - Sidari
Jun (end) - Los Alcázares
July - London
September - Mediterranean Cruise
Christmas - Still deciding where to go....hopefully over to the Far East depending on restrictions lifting....

We holidayed throughout the pandemic to Greece x 2 and Spain x 3 with no issues, just followed the guidelines and testing so not going to stop us now....

Oddly enough, I was on his last one too.

It's a lot odder than that, though:- when he split from his (3rd) wife, three years ago, he rang his "uncle Dodgy" immediately. I told him to hop on the first available flight and come and see us. He arrived on the Monday, (a day and a half later), a tearful, broken man. I took the night off and took him for a Chinese and a couple of drinks.
On the Tuesday he came to my gig and I sorted him a leg-over. The Wednesday afternoon, I found him a band (and by midnight he was balls deep in the (female) saxophonist). On the Thursday, he saw a caravan he liked the look of. I loaned him the money for it on the Friday and he never went home! :lol:
