County Premier League proposal

I am Boss

Winger

Behind a pay wall

Proposal is 12 team premier league with teams playing each other once

6 others thrown into div 2 play each other twice

Not clear on whether promotion / relegation is a thing

Plan to introduce a compensation based transfer system to encourage more transfers between clubs of players under contract

If you are trying to view it on a mobile.....as soon as the page starts to load switch your phone to flight mode. There's a couple of seconds before the paywall stuff appears after the webpage loads, so you can avoid subscribing to the Torygraph

That's what I did. Didn't want to copy the full thing as I believe that would get me banned

Right chaps. We need to come up with something to justify ourselves, but under no circumstances must anyone say that not playing cricket in the summer is a problem.

Amazing.
Stopped reading at the "county cricket is not fit for purpose" shite. Knew that was coming and it would get blamed for them not being able to play Mayers floating it down at 75mph
Strange really, as a lot of the criticism of the CC is that there too many 80mph dibblers. We should, therefore, have mullered him.

Who will they shit on to be in the 6? It wont be any of the sides in the South East or the traditional 'big' counties. Durham, Glamorgan, Leicestershire, Northants, Worcestershire + Gloucestershire?

Definitely Derbyshire. Probably in place of Glos

Edit. They may let Glamorgan in the 12 on account of the Wales Hundred team

If I had to guess now:

Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Kent.
