Once the parachute payment money has run out Donald and charlie will stop funding the club! They have hamstrung out club this season with skeletal funding and its going to continue until they have gone! Its always about the money! When Donald and co first came I and a few others on were advising the fans to wait before making judgement yet the prevailing mood was one of elation and a complete three amigos love in!

They basically could do no wrong and anyone who had a more cautious approach were shot down by the lynch mobs and bandwagon jumpers.

I think i said give them a enough rope and they will either make a noose to hang themselves with or a rope bridge to success .for me when the parachute bollocks came out that was the noose being tightened .

Repeat and rinse ......the same thing happened with KLD arrival! and again the 41% malarkey to me is the creation of the noose but only on promotion will we see his true colours. So yet again its a waiting game for safc fans ..Jam tomorrow and to be honest its getting a little annoying.

A lot of people seem to want to have a pop at KLD especially of the share %
I was one of them when it first broke as well until I looked at it a bit closer.
We'll never know exactly how much he paid for his shares, we also don't know how much the club is losing on a monthly business.
What we do know is Donald wants a certain prices for his shares and will be happy to sell them all at this price however KLD thinks this is too high for a league 1 club.
This is why I think buying only 41% is quite an astute business move, he becomes the highest individual share holder becomes chairman with control over the running of the club, the losses however don't fall entirely on to him.
As I've said we have no idea how much the club is losing but if we said it was losing 1M a month KLD would have to fund £410,000 and the rest would have to shell out the other £590,000 over a year that would cost the muppets around £7M in a year, that means KLD would have saved £7M from financing it himself for a full season if we get promoted KLD buys the remaining shares at the price that was originally agreed.
However Donaldand co would be £ 7M short compared to if they had sold last season at a fairer price. The longer we are in league one the more money Donald loses.
KLD had had his pants down yet Donald thinks he's Billy big bollocks by hanging on to a % to cash in when we get promoted yet he will have list millions in the process.
I have stated that I have no idea how much the club is losing I just use £1M a month as a ball park figure
Good post mate

Have to say it all doesn’t sit right with me. This playing out like it is and the progress of the club we are so invested in being delayed while greedy capitalists wait for their beloved profit. Somehow it doesn’t seem right in a football club which has such a human social impact on its community. No idea how it could change like but it seems wrong.

Early retirement? He's 39 years old.

🤦‍♂️
🤦‍♀️ Players don't tend to just suddenly retire 7 games before the end of a season, having only been 8 weeks into a 6 month contract.

He didn't mean 'early' as in age, he meant early as in 'suddenly fvcked off mid-contract, with no warning, and several matches left to play, leaving us threadbare'.

It's like agreeing to do 3 hours overtime at work, and then getting up and f***ing off home after 25 minutes.

That's the saddest thing in all this. We can do nothing at all about the situation! I am happy to be proved wrong but I really believe that KLD is not going to invest the sums required to get us anywhere near the premiership!

He did.

What a ridiculous analogy. He's 39. No amount of oxygen tent atmosphere is going to reduce that. How can you get fucked off from a contract - it's a legally binding document.

The talk in sounded shite as well. Nick Barnes on the MIC.

I hope this is true !

Time is on KLD's side

There was never any need for him to pay a premium while we're in the third division.

If we were in the championship he might see it differently and happily cough up whatever price was agreed.

You'd think the cash burn rate is more sustainable for him than for the Oxon paupers.

If it drags on into next season , which is now the most likely outcome, Madrox might be forced to take what's on offer.

The downside of this waiting game is that fans' lives are ticking by marked only by repeated visits from obscure little clubs we've hardly ever played before who duly give us the runaround . Unapologetically , we are offered a League 1 team to watch. For the first time in the club's history, over a prolonged period ( 5 years !) most of the professional football clubs in England are better than us.

KLD seems to have bought in to Madrox's thinking that League 1 can be escaped without major expenditure , relaying on data and moneyball bollocks .

Having said that AN is a great appointment for us.

 I used to do that, went after the gaffers had gone.

ruin him? he's never scored more than 10 in a season prior to hitting a purple patch last month
This is the first season he has been played both up front and with quality alongside him and supplying him.

Doncaster played him out wide and last season with a made him do a lot of running down the channels rather than being a box player.

I dont know how nick barnes is employed. Everything he does is either wrong or below par.
Don’t think he can be blamed for last night.

The sound was atrocious I couldn’t tell you one anecdote from Defoe.

Spoke very briefly with Nick afterwards and he said Defoe has tried to get out of it all week, the questions were given to him and Defoe wouldn’t do Q&A.

Sums the club up for me this. A shambles of an event covered with a thin layer of window dressing to make everything appear ok.

Same with the club.
To be fair, the event was held at the Roker Hotel.
They would be responsible for the room layout, catering, security and the PA system.
Not SAFC.
