It’s still mental to think, we got more negativity from local journalists over the employment of Di Canio!
Sent poor Caulkin into an ethical tailspin. He's happy to get the #cans out for this though. Maybe he's comfortable with death screams if they're made by black children? Or maybe it's just the famous subjective morality of Nukehassle fans?

"I have morals except when they run counter to my self interest, then I lay them aside." That isn't morality; that's only self interest. Decent mags shouldn't stand back and watch it in their name.

Let's call a spade a spade mate. You are claiming subjective morality just because you believe us, as Sunderland fans are suddenly becoming advocates of human rights and criticising Saudi Arabia merely because they own Newcastle? Lets be honest now.
Of course, if has brought in right into focus but ask yourself would you be referring to it as subjective morality if it was any other club than your own? These are bairns being killed, human lives being extinguished on large scale, this isn't a game mate. Knowing that other humans shouldn't be killed in such numbers is as base-level morals as it is possible to possess as a functioning human being.

Take a look at the thread when "House of Saud" was broadcast a few years back. There was a load of criticism and disgust, including from myself.
This is the fella that thinks newcastles owner having an 11 year old wife is ok

It’s a dick swinging contest with the owners of PSG and Man City. Can’t see them flipping it until they’ve had their fun.

I can. Doesn't take much to keep a population of 3m (Qatar) accustomed to living standards or 1.45m (Abd Dhabi) - keeping Saudi (35m) is a different kettle of fish.

I know it'll just be daft young lads but its f***ing dreadful that people think this is a decent way to go on these days. The Mags I know will be thinking this is abhorrent
Was seriously thinking about this earlier. How do most genuine mag fans actually feel ? As a Sunderland and football fan in general the ownership of NUFC, Chelsea and others makes me feel genuinely uneasy. Maybe it’s cos we’re looking from afar in L1 but I honestly feel detached from what’s going on at some top level clubs these days. Would I swap what we have at the moment for that ? Would I f***. A club in my community in the real world is all I want. Promotion would be nice though….

Tremendous post. 👏

Do you see much conflict amongst their fans re ownership online? Are any fans calling for boycotts? Any suggestions that the owners should sell? There's not a peep.

It's an interesting sociological study really. One most people would not get the chance to experience. How would I react if, through no fault of my own, I became part of an evil regime like the Nazis?

Would I speak out against them?
Would I speak out for them?
Would I wear their silly uniform?
Would I put aside morality for blood money?

Newcastle fans will say there is nothing they can do. Current events are showing there is plenty that ordinary people can do in defiance of tyranny. Newcastle fans are an instrument of KSA and are no longer distinct from it. Are Newcastle fans evil? Yes, I'm afraid they are.

Thing is , they're a full squad away from winning anything and in truth years away. Yes Beheddie and the 3 who have just signed do not give a fuck who is paying their wages but top top players with the chance of playing for the elite may consider them not worthy.

FFP will kick in and in truth i think will be much stricter than it is now.

So carry on being traitors to the west and wave those flags. They will be the only ones in this dot of a country doing it.
