Saudi Arabia as a country may be only 100 years old, but there has been civilisation there for for over 1500 years, Saudi Arabia being the amalgamation of 4 main regions.
Islam was born there in the 7th century, they were far more advanced in mathematics and science than the west at that time, so that gives them a bit of historical precedent…..

Women couldn't vote here until 1928. In my lifetime (yeah I'm old) black people couldn't even get on a fecking bus in the USA.

We're not that great ourselves.

We have to engage and guide and mentor, not use the big stick otherwise we see what happens in that part of the world.

Meanwhile in this beacon of loveliness we call the UK, we have circa 3000 foodbanks and 200-300 folks a day die of Covid due to government mishandling, at least the 81 who were executed had a fair trial according to the laws of THAT land, our covid victims not so much.

If they came on with something different it might be worth a debate, but they can’t, there’s nothing they can say that hasn’t been shot down in flames a hundred times before now. Every time they venture outside their echo chamber they get their arses handed to them. I remember telling one of them way back last year that you can’t defend the indefensible.
