No idea about the authenticity of the news below, and not much idea about the context, but could be something to keep an eye on:

A lot going on in Saudi today, it appears.
Looking at the rest of that twitter feed it looks like Iran is sending missiles into Iraqi territories. Good times for the world

It’s a little sad when someone decides excitement is worth more than someone’s life. I’m not singling you out mind. You aren’t alone in putting your own gratification above someone else’s existence. What does annoy me however is all these mags denouncing Putin when the owners of their football club have been doing the same if not worse for years
Not read the rest of the thread but you make a fair point. I was going to say that if I could help someone and I'd have to give up on NUFC, I would, end of. Yet I'm guilty of being 'sportswashed' but we've supported our teams for donkeys years, it's difficult and I still say that had this happened at SAFC and you'd said 'not for me' you'd still be happy seeing if they'd won on a Saturday although having not contributed to the regime in any way. If you say you wouldn't then fair play.

It's unbelievable that the mags are regularly winning football matches with only low 30% of the possession.

To do it once in a backs to the wall / park the bus game against Man City or Liverpool fair enough. But the mags are doing it against the 'might' of Brighton and Southampton. Totally dominated, barely worth a draw and winning!

Then there is fact that they dodgily cancelled the game against Southampton a couple of months ago. Then 2 players who weren't signed at that time scored the goals to give them the victory! It is a scandal really.

I think what I'm trying to say is they're horrible, smelly, spawny bastards 😎
Absolutely desperate craic this. We had 39% possession or something at Wigan and won 3-0. What should we do give the 3 points back?

Remember that derby when Sunderland won 3-0 but Newcastle had more corners and more possesion and the chronicle made a thing about it being a smash and grab. But the chronic was rightly mocked about it. All over this forum the possesion cup and all that. Maybe I imagined it. But obviously now low possesion + scoring more doesn't = a win
