Feel free to f**k off any time you like if you can’t handle the truth. And what the Saudis are accused of here is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. No amount of whatabootery or mental gymnastics will change that. Or are you going to tell us what the Saudis are doing is “fake news”?
They'll be telling us next that the journalist chopped himself up.

Because the first 'real' excitement I ever had was supporting Newcastle.
It’s a little sad when someone decides excitement is worth more than someone’s life. I’m not singling you out mind. You aren’t alone in putting your own gratification above someone else’s existence. What does annoy me however is all these mags denouncing Putin when the owners of their football club have been doing the same if not worse for years

Think I'll ask my local MP to bring up in the houses of parliament the difference between the Saudi indiscriminate bombing and slaughtering of Yemen woman and children and Putin's bombing and slaughtering of the people in Ukraine and how Chelsea have been sanctioned and not Newcastle

yeah, and reference this to bolster the point :

Already done it. Although we know our government are allies of the Saudis and therefore complicit in the atrocities committed in Yemen. Just as they have provided a safe haven for Russian money for donkeys years.

I'm sure I speak for all at RTG, when I say:

Congratulations to Eddie Howe - Premier League Manager of the Month, February 2022.

Well done Eddie!
Wonder if he'd won it if they never cancelled them games under false pretences, keep it for your sportswashed board eh !!!!!!
Of course not. Only the ones who pay to watch them. The ones that signed a petition to have them as owners. The ones that went to the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, and camped outside PL HQ. The ones that got their MPs involved. The ones that dressed up as Arabs and partied in the streets. And the ones that tirelessly defend them on social media and anywhere else anyone might listen. Just those ones.
So that's all of them then ,:)?

They are not really bothered, it's all about bragging rights simple as that?

One of those games was due to be played in December and one was due to be played in January. They've been rearranged in March. Not sure if it would affect the February games really.

Is he the first manager to win it averaging less than 40% possession?

Is he the first manager to win it averaging less than 40% possession?

Quick check and our average for February was 48%.
39% v Everton
37% v Villa
53% v West Ham
63% v Brentford

Unlucky for Howe not to have that record low possesion for manager of the month.
Still got some way to go to match Alain Pardiolas achievements.

What records has he set like?

It was in jest about him being the first manager to win it averaging less than 40% possesion.

The below is an excellent article. Couple of bits that stand out which shouldn't be ignored.

"It does, however, go so much deeper with the owners of Newcastle and Manchester City. The world is already seeing a situation where both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, of whom the Abu Dhabi royal family are the most powerful influence, are positioning themselves more towards Russia and away from the West."

"Some well-connected sources insist the owners of Newcastle, and to a lesser extent City, “should be nervous”. Both are waging a war in Yemen that remains a worse humanitarian disaster than Ukraine, at a time when that Russian invasion is pressuring the game to reassess its relationship with geopolitics."
