What a hero.

You give the impression of a bloke who is massively into human rights, have you done anything except post on twitter? And did you only start to care when the Saudis got involved with Newcastle?
I doubt any could put up a older post supporting any of this carry on tbh, he's not alone, I think it's called faux outrage

From The Guardian
Sport was so slow to catch itself on to reality that it would be hilarious, if the circumstances were any less horrific. Tomorrow Chelsea will host Newcastle, who are now owned by a group led by the – but remember, those guys are the good autocrats, because they buy our weapons. And use them in a that has thus far gone on for seven years, killing or starving hundreds of thousands, the vast majority believed to be children under five. But of course, the sovereign wealth fund isn’t the same as the Riyadh government. They just have a good relationship with it, same as Roman Abramovich just has a good relationship with Putin. “Which owner knows the guy who’s killed more babies?” is a question you won’t be seeing on any banners at Chelsea-Newcastle.

Sorry if already posted....pretty powerful stuff
Excellent article

Eventually what is happening to Chelsea will happen to Newcastle. Something will happen to get the story more into the public consciousness and everyone will act shocked at ‘not knowing’ what was going on in Yemen and the Mags will be publicly condemned.

What would you call the countries criticism of Putin and support for Ukraine over the last few weeks? Faux Outrage?

We are also best mates with Russians.

Not unless the Saudis do something completely ridiculous. They hold too many aces in terms of oil production, so it would have to be something totally mental for us or the US to start sanctioning them.

We should start by not supporting their coalition against the Yemeni insurgency by withholding weapons and military intelligence. But we won’t.
