NUFC and other Sportswashing 2022 - Part 3

Just seen their winning goal there - absolutely outrageous skill from that Brazilian they've signed! One of those goals you could just watch over and over again, if it had been scored by a team other than them!

8 points from danger and Watford, Burnley and Norwich are 3 of the worst premier league teams I’ve ever seen after our 15 pointer and derby. They’ve bought themselves out of trouble, despite the fact they’ll tell people that’s not true.
Bit of both. New signings have been really, really good despite not being huge names and Fred’s back up for Brazil. However, all of the players that were already there have improved.

Not that buying your way out of trouble is in any way negative. It’s football in 2022, you buy what you want or you don’t get what you want.

Loads of MPs in the Northeast - Tyneside, Gateshead, Durham, at least one in Sunderland, that harassed the Premier League to allow the Saudi take over of the Mags. They're now crying and posting pictures of bombed out cities in Ukraine. Get a few photos of Yemen posted on the walls of their social media accounts, the hypocrites!

On a hiding to nothing them living in the shadow of Liverpool. The types of money the mags will throw at it will be on a different scale to Everton as well I would imagine.
Tbf when Man City were taken over it was with Man United at their most dominant for a long while. 3 consecutive titles and the champions league in 08, had Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez... a great Man United period.

Another great 3 points

I asked last week if we were safe, I genuinely think we are now. Onwards and upwards.
Not yet imo.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Wolves still to play. Could lose all of them (although I don't think will lose them all). Always think we find Leicester difficult as well.
Another 6 or 7 points required. Until we've got 36 or 37 I'll not start to relax. Although obviously enjoying this run at the minute and we look like staying up but not done yet.

Edit. I think 34 might just be enough to survive this year but want to be well clear as early as possible
