Iirc he's one of only two Newcastle managers to leave the club to join another one. Pardew going to Palace in 2014 was the other.RIP Gordon Lee - another one who never really caught the imagination of the greatest fans in the world.

Well it certainly isn't the SOL or the RiversideSJP isn’t even the best stadium in the northeast. Shouldn’t be thinking about extensions when 10k free tickets were given away in recent times
And it certainly is not the lopsided shit tip either dreadful stadium with gates stuck to a f***ing wall ffs?Well it certainly isn't the SOL or the Riverside
Well if stories are true......NUFC might be buying the land behind the Gallowgate end back as the developers who were building offices / student accommodation went tits up, so a development of that end would even things up a bit and add another 8K. Also not that it would make much difference as they are grade two listed but Leazes terrace is now owned by a Saudi companyAnd it certainly is not the lopsided shit tip either dreadful stadium with gates stuck to a f***ing wall ffs?

To be fair this applies to all football clubs that have an upturn in fortunes. You always get those that claim to be die-hards and offer their full undying love when things look to be on the up. But there are many many thousands of genuine Newcastle United fans that are actually die-hard fans, just as there are with Sunderland and all other clubs, whether you'/re at the top or at the bottom. To be fair the glory supporters have come back in their thousands. They will all claim they only didn’t go because of Ashley but in reality it was just because they were shit but now they know they need to get season tickets in case they do become a force and for European away days.
Stevie, nobody cares.
