And it certainly is not the lopsided shit tip either dreadful stadium with gates stuck to a f***ing wall ffs?
Well if stories are true......NUFC might be buying the land behind the Gallowgate end back as the developers who were building offices / student accommodation went tits up, so a development of that end would even things up a bit and add another 8K. Also not that it would make much difference as they are grade two listed but Leazes terrace is now owned by a Saudi company

There is no economic argument for extending the Gallowgate. Mandy and Murderer will say all the right things to pander to your ego's about how you need a new ground but reality is it will never pay back. 8k @ 500 quid each is only 4m quid per season - the Anfield Road expansion is costing 60m. The difference being Liverpool attract that many tourists each game, each spending 100 quid in the club shop.

Where did I say they would be torn down....."Also not that it would make much difference as they are grade two listed but Leazes terrace is now owned by a Saudi company"

To be fair the glory supporters have come back in their thousands. They will all claim they only didn’t go because of Ashley but in reality it was just because they were shit but now they know they need to get season tickets in case they do become a force and for European away days.
To be fair this applies to all football clubs that have an upturn in fortunes. You always get those that claim to be die-hards and offer their full undying love when things look to be on the up. But there are many many thousands of genuine Newcastle United fans that are actually die-hard fans, just as there are with Sunderland and all other clubs, whether you'/re at the top or at the bottom.

That won't change in any sport.

The reality is very simple. People/fans want to see their clubs battling at the top. Whether that's the top of the premier on top of the championship or league one or two and so on, into the non-league.

I've seen many people give up Newcastle. Lots of excuses as to why they won't go or why they won't buy a season ticket or even a scarf or mug from the shop. A lot are a massive bunch of hypocrites using Ashley as one example of why they won't do this or that. The very same that sang his praises when we were flying high in the championship and so on and so on.

The thing is it isn't just us. fans of all clubs do this. It just depends on how much of it is in the actual mainstream limelight as to whether it gets noticed.
