I'm guessing mind, not basing it on any facts other than I read about ten year ago Putin would struggle to win a drawn our war if his initial blitz failed.

I'll also admit to guessing, but as time goes on I'm convinced they weren't expecting much of a fight. Send in the conscripts with seemingly no real tactics other than roll into towns and takeover.

I think Putin banked on a lot more of a pro Russia reaction from the general public in Ukraine, and has massively misread the situation.

This would explain the abandonment of so much equipment, and the seemingly lack of any real prep to get the equipment battle ready.

Trump threatened to withdraw from NATO and tried to make Ukraine investigate Biden in return for weapons.
Trump was desperate to use nukes but not against someone who had them.
Trump did the damage in Iraq not Biden. Biden just got his people out.
It is difficult to imagine a situation worse than this but Trump in charge would be it. His unpredictability won't stop a first strike the idiot trying on of his own might.

Any guesses? Not well versed on the Israeli leader. I though some of his ex forces were fighting for Ukraine?

I’m worried most other countries so this as a loss already. They are basically looking for a way to stop Putin by giving him what he wants. They will just want assurances that he will stop there

Hopefully it’s more that others are trying to negotiate peace
