Seems like Roman has more a conscience and a more accurate moral compass than Stavely I think. He saw his situation was untenable and high-tailed it out of Dodge City asap. It was going to be impossible for him to continue especially given the likelihood of him being subject to sanctions and frozen assets and he did the right thing for football, the club and himself and decided to sell.

For that indefensible woman to say what she said, defending Romans association with Vladimir, is disgraceful and if she had half the moral fibre of Roman she would resign.
