Putin isn’t going to nuke Ukraine cities because that makes his whole invasion pointless.

Kyiv is seen by him as the birth place of the Orthodox Church and a jewel in the Russian Empire so he won’t nuke it.

I personally don’t think he will nuke anywhere but I appreciate some are more worried.

But, the Ukrainians are begging for a no fly zone and NATO support on the ground so they obviously want to take the risk.

As you state NATO is a defensive alliance. On the other hand Russia has proved on many occasions that it is a bully boy quite happy to swallow up weaker countries. If it wasn't for Russian aggression over the decades there wouldn't be any need for NATO, however your chums actions over the past week show that there is very much a need for NATO. Bottom line is a nutter with 5000 nukes and the morals of a sewer rat is a severe problem, not just to Ukraine, but to the rest of the civilised world.

NATO countries only touch 6% of Russia‘s borders, and NATO does not seek to expand - countries apply to join. Unlike Russia, who just invade.

Through me? I’m pro Ukraine always have said I am, I feel he’s used it for an excuse but you can’t wonder if it’s one of the reasons

Russia may say it is a reason but that’s their problem.

Countries choose to join NATO. If Russia don’t like it, tough, they have to deal with it. Not invade.

Not sure you’ve ready my post in context with the post I quoted there. I’m not saying he is going to nuke Ukraine. I’m justifying (to an extent anyway) why we haven’t retaliated with boots on the ground yet.

To think some people just like to argue what ever side they are on to be fair in here it seems it
