Thankfully he lets an enemy of the free world bomb an independent nation into smithereens? Riiiight.

No fly zone the least we should be doing.

Take out Putin with a targeted attack. No fly zone. Bomb Russian military installations around the border and the columns moving on Kyiv.

If it is WW3 it will be a very short one.

A very short one for all of us, you might add.

He really hasn’t. We’re seriously lagging behind the rest of the developed world by way of help for refugees.

And he’s still done fuckall to all the Russian billionaires in the country (and his party).

it is amazing that abramovich is in a position to sell some of his property portfolio in the uk
johnson has done the oligarchs a favour by giving advance notice that they ‘might’ be sanctioned in the future. They should have been sanctioned immediately

And what if a replacement for Putin is even madder than him and nukes London, New York and California?

I'd be making the nastiest things I could to make sure the damage is done and a message is sent. Invaders aren't welcome, they come anywhere near and they get fucked up, simples.
Maria just dropped the f bomb live on BBC morning breakfast there

Seen that

Dan Walker is a right wet fart mind.
But why though? His grip on power has only gotten stronger over the years and there were no complaints from these people apparently when they went into Georgia and then annexed Crimea?

I’ve no idea marra, I’m not a Russian general.

That doesn't necessarily mean the Russians left it without defending it. It might mean it was a storage facility/area which the Ukrainians fought for and captured

i literally just said "abandoned or captured without much effort"

there's no sign of damage from any kind of assault. no bullet holes, no shell damage. everything is parked up neatly

i honestly don't why i bother on this thread any more. everyone just seems to want to have a pop.

Wonder what putin would think if China waltzed into Russia from the east. Claiming it as their own. Siberia aside there's not much other than land between the Chinese border and moscow

It’s not something he or any other Russian leader ever has to worry about.

Why all the sudden hate over Abramovich btw?

I'm aware of his history, but he's never even associated with his past when he came into football. So I don't understand the fuss about him.

Or is this some absolute genius tactic to collect some stamp duty tax when he has to sell all his British assets.

Down to his high profile as Chelsea owner. There'll be many more like him we don't see.

I think it’s because he is one of many many Russian oligarchs with huge wealth which putin may have an interest in

He is very close to Putin, his money man, ergo complicit in his corruption.

Frank Gardner’s take on it

Simply put because of Chelsea he’s the only one who the vast majority, not just here but right across Europe know

ask them to name another one and they can’t me included

I mean, fuck Russia
but Molotov cocktails don’t sit right with me. The initial explosion is fine (for a war zone type of fine) but putting stuff like bleach or slow burning oil should be against the Geneva convention. It’s a form of chemical warfare
Civilians fighting an invading army who have tanks and missiles, and you think they shouldn't do Molotov cocktails?

They should be building medieval concealed pits with spikes and snakes in the bottom.

Usmanov. Was about to buy Everton, formerly one of Arsenal's owners.
