Putin has bided his time, has watched the American withdrawal from Afghanistan and in his mind thinks he is dealing with a weak president who won't get involved to much of a degree - and he's right up to now.
I'm pretty surprised at the lack of anything from Biden or the USA in general.

The US hasn’t been saying a lot. But there were a significant number of cargo flights from military cargo charter carriers into Ukraine in the two weeks or so before invasion, and there are a lot of flights departing Ramstein, heading east, and then turning their transponders off, in addition to the tankers flying constant sorties over Romania and Poland with transponders on. Those tankers aren’t up there refueling nobody.

British and American. There are eyes and ears in the sky and fighter cover as well. But there is probably some transportation of goods going on as well.

Exactly. And those C-17s that head east and go dark aren’t joyriding.

Have they lost all this equipment in the invasion by Russia, has it been pulled back into the cities for defensive purposes? Not suggesting there's anything nefarious going on but it's a bit odd.

Yes, haven’t been very visible so far

Although it seems like ukraine forces have preferred to stay in cities/urban areas where it will be a lot more difficult for Russian. Maybe a lot of ukraine hardware is in and around the cities
