Glad to see Lawrence get a game.

Boring bowling lineup. If it’s a reset we want, why not play Mahmood and Parkinson? I fail to see why Woakes is on this tour. A gun bowler at home but next to useless overseas.

Inclined to agree. Seems to me that they are trying thinking about batting depth by choosing the likes of Woakes and Overton ahead of Mahmood and Leach ahead of Parkinson. I would have liked them to freshen things up, certainly with Mahmood in.
 
Just me that really can't muster any sort of emotion or excitement for this tour?
I think everyone knows I love my cricket, but after the capitulation in the Ashes, the ludicrous Broad and Anderson decision, and everything else going on, it just feels a bit pointless.

I felt the same after the Ashes but going and watching international cricket live straight after brought it all back. Appreciate that's not a simple fix in early March :lol:

At present yeah. But it’s 3pm-10pm and perfect for watching in the UK. Really looking forward to it starting.
 
I'm going and fly out Saturday so have to muster up some enthusiasm somehow. Would I book now, the way I feel right now after everything that's happened this winter? No
